Research Interests:
  • Mineral Processing of ores, coal, industrial minerals and processing of rocks
  • Size reduction of rocks, ores, industrial minerals and obsolete concrete (crushing, grinding), classification analysis (screening, wet screening, wet classification with hydrocyclones etc.)
  • Determination of mechanical properties of rocks, ores and industrial minerals [Bond Work index, Los Angeles tests, Micro-Deval tests, Aggregate Impact Value (AIV), Protodyakonov strength value prediction, Aggregate Crushing Value (ACV) etc.]
  • Determination of shape characteristics of aggregates, crushing products, particle specific area, specific gravity and apparent specific gravity
  • Elaboration of mineral processing flowsheets and design of mineral processing plants
  • Economic evaluation of mineral processing and aggregates production plants
  • Beneficiation studies of ores and industrial minerals (magnetic separation, flotation, gravimetric methods etc.).
